CSA Week Five: Ingredients

This week’s basket includes:

Salad mix, lettuce, basil, baby cabbage, cucumber, summer squash, garlic, cherry tomatoes, swiss chard, potatoes, and sunflowers. Yay sunflowers!


The plan for the week, shaking it up a little bit:

  • Frittata with potato, summer squash, swiss chard, leftover smoked chicken, and goat cheese, with salad
  • Zucchini pancakes, with turkey burgers and feta on pita with cucumber sauce
  • Potato, swiss chard and garlic soup with garlic bread
  • Cabbage and cucumber salad with tamarind dressing, served with grilled lamb
