Since today is cleaning day, we washed the cars, and then gave the dog a bath while we had the hose going outside. The shampoo we use for him is specially formulated for black dogs — it has “pearlescents” in it, although I still insist that’s not a real word, that make black coats especially shiny. And it works, it’s great stuff.
But the problem? The shampoo says it’s “Boysenberry” scented. It’s not. It’s totally the same scent as grape popsicles.
My dog smells like a grape.
And he knows it, too. He hates bath day.
