I’m a twenty-something married academic professional living in the Shenandoah Valley. Or, if you prefer, a twenty-something, married, academic professional, if you have a thing for commas. My husband, RadicalLibrarian, and I moved to Harrisonburg last summer from Illinois. I’m originally from Canada, but have lived in the US for half my life (the second half, obviously). We just bought our first house, and we share it with two cats, Hazel and Gideon, and a shepherd-border collie mix named Bailey. We love to support local food and local businesses, and spend our time working on the never-ending list of projects that comes with a hundred-year-old house, reading, cooking, gardening, and training our very smart dog.
